Republican Candidate for Governor, Ken Knuppe, Buffalo Gap, S.D., will be in Canton, Yankton, Platte, Aberdeen and Mitchell, S.D. this coming week. Knuppe says he looks forward to meeting new people and hearing their ideas and concerns. “Anyone who is looking for a conservative, common sense person to serve as their next governor, should really stop in and say ‘hello,’” said Knuppe. “I’d love to meet you and hear about the issues that affect you, and let you know how I’m hoping to conservatively manage our state’s finances, enhance opportunities for small businesses and ensure a good education for our children,” said Knuppe. Knuppe will be at the following locations next week: February 8, 2010, Sioux Falls area folks are invited to stop at Sioux Falls Regional Livestock, Canton, S.D., from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST to visit with Knuppe. February 9, 2010, folks from the Yankton area can meet Knuppe at Stockmen’s Livestock, the “South Barn,” between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm CST. February 10, 2010, Platte area residents should make plans to stop at Charles Mix County Livestock in Platte, S.D. from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST. February 11, 2010, Ken’s SuperFair Foods will host a “Meet and Greet” in their deli area from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST. Stop by to visit with Knuppe over cookies and coffee, provided by Knuppe supporters. Or grab some lunch at the deli – dutch treat. February 12, 2010, Knuppe will address the Vietnam Veterans Reunion Committee at the Ramada Inn in Mitchell, S.D. at 1:30 pm CST. February 13, 2010, Knuppe will visit with Aberdeen area folks at Hub City Livestock from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Later that day, Knuppe plans to attend the North Central Livestock Producers’ Annual Banquet in Aberdeen. He looks forward to visiting with fellow livestock producers. “As I travel around the state it seems that health care, insurance, agriculture and education are issues of interest. We can visit about these or any other issues next week,” said Knuppe. “I really just want to hear from the people of South Dakota. You know what you want and what you need. I’m here to give you the chance to share and explain your ideas.” For more information about Knuppe go to www.knuppeforgovernor.com. |
